During NeoCon 2026, we welcomed Henge into our Chicago showroom, marking a new chapter in the brand’s growing presence in the United States. More than an opening, the evening offered an immersive introduction to Henge’s world of Italian craftsmanship, sculptural materiality, and contemporary living.

Developed in collaboration with Interni and Luminaire, the new dedicated Henge environment reflects a shared commitment to design as atmosphere – tactile, architectural, and deeply felt. Guests experienced a curated selection of furnishings and lighting, including the Downtown Sofa, Oxymoron Table, Gattopardo Seating System, and Spectre Bookshelf, each revealing Henge’s distinctive approach to material research, artisanal detail, and bold interior expression.

The pieces on view highlighted the vision of Henge’s celebrated design collaborators, including Massimo Castagna, whose work balances generous comfort with refined architectural form, as well as other creative voices who contribute to the brand’s richly layered language of stone, metal, texture, and light.
For Interni and Luminaire, the partnership with Henge represents a natural alignment of values: exceptional craftsmanship, contemporary Italian design, and the creation of immersive environments that go beyond traditional retail. Together, the three brands offer architects, designers, and clients a new Chicago destination for experiencing interiors defined by emotion, authenticity, and material poetry.

As the evening unfolded, materials, artistry, and conversation came together to express the spirit of Henge – an invitation to experience design not simply as something seen, but as something felt.

Cassina Chairs - The Collectors' Guide

This guide surveys the Cassina chairs we carry and the ideas embedded in each one.

The Cassina Cab Armchair: When Leather Becomes Structure
Mario Bellini's Cab Armchair for Cassina, introduced in 1977, proposed something the furniture world had not seen before: leather not as a covering, but as a load-bearing skin. This is a study in how a single material can rewrite the logic of an entire object, and why that object still holds its ground in contemporary design culture.
