Jean-Marie Massaud, born in 1966 in Toulouse, France, is a globally recognized French architect and designer whose work spans furniture, industrial design, architecture, and conceptual projects. He graduated in 1990 from ENSCI Les Ateliers in Paris and founded his studio in 1994. In 2000, he co-founded Studio Massaud. His approach to design is rooted in simplicity, lightness, and synthesis, with a strong focus on creating solutions that enhance everyday life while responding to broader cultural and environmental considerations.

Throughout his career, Massaud has collaborated with leading international brands including B&B Italia, Cassina, Poltrona Frau, Poliform, Axor Hansgrohe, Dior, Lancôme, Renault, and MDF Italia. His work is known for its refined lines, balanced proportions, and emotional clarity. It has received numerous international design awards and is part of the permanent collections of major institutions such as the Musée National d’Art Moderne in Paris, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, and the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.
