Shipping Services
For your convenience, Luminaire offers multiple shipping services that are displayed during checkout, including expedited shipping options where available. Some shipping services may not be available in your location or for the items in your cart. If you have a question regarding specific shipping or delivery options, please contact us.
Order Processing Times
Orders placed Monday through Friday before 2 p.m. (EST) will generally be processed the same business day. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will typically process on the following business day.
Address Accuracy
It is the customer's responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at the time of purchase. Luminaire is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or losses resulting from an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by the customer. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping charges required to reship the order. Luminaire reserves the right to charge a handling fee for orders returned due to address errors.
If you realize you have entered an incorrect address after placing your order, please contact customer support immediately. We will make every effort to update the address before the order ships, but we cannot guarantee that changes can be made once an order has been processed or handed to a carrier.
Signatures & Delivery
For orders over $500, a signature may be required upon delivery. All shipments are insured and include a tracking number for your convenience. You will receive a shipping notification via email and/or SMS once your order has shipped.
Carrier Delays & Risk of Loss
Shipping carrier delays may occur during periods of high order volume or due to weather-related events or other carrier disruptions. Shipments to certain U.S. territories may take an additional 1-2 business days. Please note that loss, damage, or theft that occurs after the carrier has confirmed delivery to the shipping address is not covered by shipping insurance.
If your shipment has not been delivered within 10 business days of the estimated delivery date, please contact us and we will work with you to investigate the delay with the carrier. If the carrier is unable to confirm delivery or locate the shipment within a reasonable timeframe, we will offer you the option to cancel your order for a full refund or arrange a replacement shipment at our discretion.
Free Domestic Shipping
Luminaire offers free shipping within the United States on lighting products.
Free Shipping Exclusions
Free shipping may not be available to the following U.S. territories and addresses:
- American Samoa
- Armed Forces Americas
- Armed Forces Europe
- Armed Forces Pacific
- Guam
- Marshall Islands
- Micronesia
- Northern Mariana Islands
- Palau
- Puerto Rico
- U.S. Virgin Islands
Luminaire also reserves the right to exclude certain oversized, heavy, or special‑handling items from free shipping.
PO Boxes & APO Addresses (United States)
The United States Postal Service (USPS) is typically the primary carrier for shipping to PO Boxes and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. Some alternative services (such as certain economy or hybrid options) may rely on USPS for final delivery. If you are shipping your order to a PO Box or APO/FPO/DPO address, you may not see all shipping services during checkout, and delivery times may be extended.
White Glove Delivery
For select furniture, lighting, and large-format items, Luminaire offers an optional White Glove Delivery service in eligible areas. This premium service is designed to ensure that your pieces are delivered, placed, and set up with the utmost care and attention.
White Glove Delivery includes:
- Scheduled delivery within a designated time window
- In‑home delivery to the room of choice (subject to safe access)
- Unboxing and basic assembly of eligible items
- Placement of items in the desired location
- Removal of packaging materials for recycling or disposal
Exclusions and conditions:
- White Glove Delivery is available only for qualifying products and locations, which will be indicated at checkout.
- Stair carries, difficult access (tight stairwells, elevators, long carries), or structural constraints may limit placement locations or require additional fees.
- Electrical, plumbing, or wall-mounting work (including hardwiring fixtures, installing junction boxes, or modifying walls/ceilings) is not included and must be performed by a licensed professional engaged by you.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that the items will fit through all access points (doorways, elevators, hallways, stairwells). Redelivery, storage, or return fees may apply if delivery cannot be completed due to access limitations.
Scheduling and fees:
- After your order is ready to ship, our team or our delivery partner will contact you to coordinate a delivery date and time window.
- White Glove Delivery fees vary based on order value, item type, and delivery address, and will be displayed at checkout or quoted by our team.
- Missed appointments or last‑minute cancellations may incur a redelivery fee.
- By selecting White Glove Delivery at checkout or confirming it with our client services team, you acknowledge and agree to the service terms and any applicable fees associated with this option.
Local Delivery (South Florida)
Luminaire may offer local delivery for eligible orders across South Florida’s Tri‑County region, covering Miami‑Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. Local delivery generally requires a minimum order of $5000, with delivery fees starting at approximately $500 and adjusting based on the distance from our primary warehouse or showroom location.
If your order qualifies for local delivery and your shipping address is within our delivery area, available local delivery options will be automatically displayed in your cart during checkout. Please ensure that location services are enabled when prompted so that we can accurately determine eligibility.
At this time, we do not offer local pickup unless otherwise noted on the site or confirmed in writing by Luminaire.
International Shipping
Luminaire offers shipping to many international destinations; however, we cannot ship to locations where it is prohibited by applicable law, sanctions, or carrier restrictions. While we do not charge U.S. sales tax on international orders, you are solely responsible for any duties, value‑added taxes (VAT), customs brokerage fees, or other import charges assessed by your local customs office or government.
International shipments may be subject to inspection by customs authorities, which can affect delivery times. Title and risk of loss for products shipped internationally generally transfer to you once the shipment is delivered to the first carrier outside of the country of export, unless otherwise required by local law or specified by the shipping terms at checkout.
Order Status & Tracking
For your convenience, you can view order status and track shipments by logging into your Luminaire account and selecting the order you would like to review. If your order has shipped, you will see the tracking information and a link to track the shipment directly with the carrier.
If you need to contact the shipping carrier regarding a shipment, please refer to the contact information provided by that carrier on its website or in your tracking email.
Carbon‑Conscious Shipping
At Luminaire, design and responsibility go hand in hand. Where possible, we pursue carbon-conscious shipping practices intended to help reduce the environmental impact of deliveries. This may include:
Using recyclable and/or biodegradable packaging materials when feasible, consolidating shipments where appropriate to reduce the number of packages, and partnering with carriers and programs that support carbon-offset or emissions-reduction initiatives.
Details of specific sustainability initiatives may evolve over time and may vary by region and carrier. These practices represent a voluntary initiative on the part of Luminaire and do not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or representation regarding the environmental impact of any specific shipment or delivery. Luminaire makes no claim of carbon neutrality or net-zero emissions in connection with its shipping operations.

Updated versions will be posted on our website, and we may notify you via email or other reasonable means. Continued use of our services or placement of orders after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
