B&B Italia arrives at Luminaire Los Angeles in a dialogue with the work of Ian Rayer-Smith, where design and art converge to shape atmosphere, emotion, and space.

Across two cities, Luminaire gathered a distinct rhythm of voices, where Billy Zane's abstract work lived among elevated design, uniting art, design, and luxury in an immersive experience of community and culture. 

Within the bespoke, design becomes an intimate composition, where materials, gestures, and memory gather to form spaces that resonate with the life they hold.

At its final stop on the Luminaire tour, Souvenirs of a Forgotten Past becomes a vessel for memory through stone, shaped by hands that carry histories across borders, forming objects that speak of identity, distance, and belonging. 

Design begins in the hand and extends into the way we live, where objects shaped by history and intention become part of how we see, feel, and understand the world.
