PostKrisi 65-66-67 Pendant Lamp
Made by Catellani & Smith
Designed by Enzo Catellani
Enzo Catellani has long worked at the edge between craft and sculpture, and PostKrisi extends that sensibility into pendant form. The collection's fiberglass shades are defined by their jagged, fringed perimeters, which break the lampshade's silhouette into something animate, almost organic. Where most pendants contain light, PostKrisi performs with it, casting layered shadows that shift with viewing angle and room geometry.
Three pendant sizes give the collection a domestic range. The PK65 carries a 40 cm shade, suited to intimate settings. The PK66, at 60 cm, anchors a dining table or reading corner with authority. The PK67, with its 80 cm shade, commands larger volumes without losing warmth. Each pendant is assembled with a metal base, a rod finished in brass or nickel, and fiberglass shades in natural or white varnish. The cable cuts to length, allowing precise installation at any ceiling height.

Frequently Asked Questions
What materials are used in the PostKrisi pendant?
The PostKrisi pendant combines a metal base structure with a rod finished in either brass or nickel, and a fiberglass shade available in natural or white varnish. The fiberglass is worked by hand to produce the characteristic fringed edge.
What size PostKrisi pendant should I choose for a dining table?
The PK66, with its 60 cm shade, is well proportioned for most dining tables, delivering ample light coverage while preserving visual balance. The PK67, at 80 cm, suits longer tables or spaces with higher ceilings where a stronger formal presence is appropriate.
Is Catellani & Smith lighting handmade?
Yes. Catellani & Smith produces all of its pieces by hand at its atelier in Grassobbio, Italy. Enzo Catellani founded the brand in 1989 with a deliberate commitment to artisanal production, and that approach remains central to every collection.
What type of bulbs does PostKrisi use, and can they be replaced?
PostKrisi uses three E27 LED bulbs at 2700K with a combined output of 2700 lumens and a CRI above 80. E27 is a widely available standard socket, so bulbs can be replaced with compatible LED options when needed.
Can the cable length be adjusted for different ceiling heights?
Yes. The suspension cable on PostKrisi can be cut to the required drop length during installation, allowing the pendant to be positioned at the ideal height regardless of ceiling configuration.
