Enzo Catellani approaches light as a material in its own right. The PostKrisi collection, one of Catellani & Smith's most enduring series, began as an exploration of fiberglass as both shade and sculpture. The PostKrisi 100 carries that sensibility forward with a floor presence that is equal parts functional and contemplative.
The shade's jagged, fringed edges are not decorative flourishes. They are the mechanism by which light breaks apart, casting layered shadows that shift with viewing angle and room conditions. Three finish options define distinct characters:
- Hand-painted white fiberglass, diffuse and soft
- Silver-leaf lining, cool and reflective
- Gold-leaf lining, warm and luminous
A nickel-plated metal base and copper stick give the structure an understated precision. The integrated floor dimmer with memory last-step function allows the lamp to hold its atmosphere from one use to the next. The LED source delivers 2700K warmth at 1,120 lumens, a calibration suited to the intimacy the form invites.
Made in Italy, each piece is assembled by hand at the Catellani & Smith atelier in Grassobbio, Bergamo.
