84Vt Table Lamp
Made by Bocci
Designed by Omer Arbel
Omer Arbel's 84V Series begins with process. Rounded puffs of white glass are gathered and fused between copper mesh and clear glass, producing an interior that no two hands can replicate exactly. Each piece carries its own interior logic, its own quiet geography of copper and air.
The 84Vt translates this language into a table lamp, compressing the series' sculptural character to the intimate scale of a desk or console. When lit, the glass reveals copper-hued depth and a soft surface texture. The light reads at 2700K, warm enough to register less as illumination than as atmosphere.
- Single hand-blown glass pendant with copper mesh interior
- Semi-rigid black fabric cord, shapeable by hand for quiet formal flexibility
- Integral dial dimmer
- Made to order in Vancouver, British Columbia
Bocci was founded by Omer Arbel in Vancouver in 2005. The studio operates as both a design office and a glass workshop, where material research and production remain inseparable. The 84V Series is among the most direct expressions of that philosophy: the making is the design.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is the Bocci 84Vt Table Lamp made?
Each 84Vt is produced by hand in Bocci's Vancouver glass studio. Puffs of white glass are gathered and fused between copper mesh and a clear glass outer layer, a process that ensures no two lamps are identical in their interior patterning or copper distribution.
What color temperature does the 84Vt emit?
The 84Vt emits light at 2700K, a warm tone that interacts with the copper mesh interior to produce an amber-inflected glow rather than a bright, directional light.
Can the cord position be adjusted on the 84Vt?
Yes. The semi-rigid black fabric cord can be shaped by hand and holds its position, allowing the pendant to be angled or oriented without additional hardware.
Is the Bocci 84Vt made to order?
Yes. As a handmade piece produced in Bocci's studio, the 84Vt is made to order and carries lead times consistent with bespoke glass production. It is not a stock item.
Who is Omer Arbel?
Omer Arbel is a Canadian architect and designer who founded Bocci in Vancouver in 2005. His practice is distinguished by a rigorous engagement with material process, particularly glass, where the conditions of making, temperature, gravity, and breath, are treated as design variables rather than factors to be controlled.
