The 14 Series stands among Omer Arbel's most recognized contributions to contemporary lighting, and the 14.1 distills that vision to its most concentrated form. A single cast-glass globe, 102 mm in diameter, suspended from a canopy with deliberate simplicity.
Cast borosilicate glass is not a uniform material. Each piece retains the subtle variation introduced during its making, so the light it emits carries a warmth and softness that manufactured diffusers rarely achieve. The glass is available in clear, grey, or sepia, reading differently across conditions of natural and artificial light throughout the day.
