The 44T brings Omer Arbel's 44 Series into close proximity. Each pendant begins as molten aluminum poured into a broken sand and wax mold, a process that captures the exact texture of an impermanent form and fixes it permanently in metal. No two pieces are alike. The result is less a manufactured object than a preserved gesture.
Brass and electrical components complement the cast aluminum shade, grounded by table hardware in a polished contemporary finish. An integral dial dimmer sits within a slender cylinder. The semi-rigid black fabric cord can be shaped by hand, offering a quiet adaptability to its setting without announcing itself.
