28.6 Stem Floor

Six hand-blown glass spheres hang from a single 1.8-meter stem - each one shaped by breath and fire, each one slightly different from the next. The 28.6 Stem Floor brings Bocci's signature pendant vocabulary down to the ground, where it reads not as ceiling spectacle but as quiet, intimate presence.

The stem itself is available in black powder-coated steel or brass, rising from a 350mm diameter base weighted enough to anchor the composition. A semi-rigid black fabric cord runs the length of the stem, concealing the low-voltage wiring within its architecture. The patented integral dimmer, housed inside a cylinder on the stem, rotates 360 degrees - a considered detail that makes adjustment feel continuous and analog rather than binary.

Each pendant measures between 157 and 171mm in diameter, the slight variation an inherent quality of the hand-blown process rather than a flaw. Glass is available in Clear or a range of Select Colours. The light source is a 1W LED at 2700K, producing a warm, low-intensity glow that suits the scale of the object. Power runs at 12V low voltage. The fixture carries UL, cUL, CE, UKCA, and NOM certifications and is rated IP20 for dry interior locations.
