Bocci's 21 Random Collection, designed by Omer Arbel, explores the expressive potential of raw porcelain through a process that makes every pendant unique. Thin porcelain sheets are formed by hand and draped over a frosted borosilicate glass diffuser, allowing the material to settle into its own intricate, organic shape. The unglazed exterior preserves the porcelain's natural texture, while the glazed interior softly directs the light.
Suspended from slender coaxial cables, the pendants can be arranged as a single light or expansive compositions of up to 50 pieces. Different canopy formats, finishes, cable lengths, and lighting options allow the collection to adapt to varied architectural settings. Warm LED illumination accentuates the contrast between softly glowing porcelain and the brighter glass core.
