The I-beam is one of modern engineering's most recognizable structural forms. Konstantin Grcic took that girder and made it furniture, arriving at the Beam Table in 2019 for Established & Sons - a table system that wears its industrial logic openly without apology.
Rolled steel forms the frame, giving the table a clear architectural presence that reads differently at dining height versus standing height. Both configurations share the same structural honesty: the profile is the design. Lengths vary to suit everything from an intimate domestic dining room to a full-scale conference or live-work environment.
Top materials offer a considered range of finish and texture:
- Oak veneer, warm and grain-forward

- Black Fenix, a matte thermosetting resin surface that resists fingerprints and minor abrasion
