Each piece in the 38 Series begins as a clear glass globe. Into that molten form, Omer Arbel introduces a secondary element: a milk-glass bubble suspended mid-mass, caught in the moment of its own becoming. The result is neither decoration nor illusion. It is a direct record of the glassblower's process, preserved as the material cools.
Produced at Bocci's studio in Vancouver, the series depends on precise manipulation of heat and airflow. No two pendants are identical. The internal bubble shifts in position, scale, and opacity across the series, giving each object a singular character within a coherent formal system.
