Since 1966 | Germany

Ingo Maurer is a German lighting design company dedicated to creating expressive, innovative lamps, lighting systems, and sculptural light objects that blur the line between art and illumination. Founded in 1966 by visionary designer Ingo Maurer in Munich, the brand became renowned for pioneering designs such as Bulb (1966), the YaYaHo low-voltage system (1984), and the Lucellino winged light (1992), many of which are featured in major museum collections worldwide. The company combines craftsmanship, experimentation, and poetic intent to produce lighting that is both technically refined and emotionally engaging, while also executing bespoke installations and architectural light planning projects. With its workshop and showroom in Munich, Ingo Maurer’s legacy continues to shape contemporary lighting design long after the founder’s passing in 2019.
