L40 Sled Desk
Made by Cassina
Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni
Rodolfo Dordoni approaches the desk as an architectural problem, and the L40 Sled is his solution: a composition where every decision serves form and function in equal measure. The gently rounded top edge is the desk's defining gesture, softening an otherwise disciplined silhouette without compromising its clarity.
The top is offered in right- or left-handed configurations, acknowledging the practical rhythms of contemporary work without disrupting the desk's compositional integrity. An integrated chest of two drawers, oriented to correspond with the top, keeps the surface open and unencumbered.

Dordoni's body of work is defined by a rigorous sensibility that never reads as cold. His designs hold warmth in their proportions, and the L40 Sled is no exception: a desk that commands a room through restraint rather than volume.
