Molo Sofa
Made by Kettal
Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni
Molo takes its name from the pier, a structure that extends from land over water, anchoring itself at the threshold of two worlds. Rodolfo Dordoni carried that idea into form: a sofa that holds its ground through geometry alone, without ornament or artifice.
The design is built on a strict rectangular modularity. Each unit can be separated, rearranged, and reconfigured, allowing the composition to shift with the space around it. Proportions are deliberately generous, giving the silhouette a calm, architectural presence suited to the scale of outdoor environments.
Decorative detail is withheld by intention. That restraint draws the eye toward the materiality of the fabrics, the weight of the cushions, and the considered interplay of color across configurations. Molo does not announce itself. It simply belongs wherever it is placed.
