Frame Outdoor Sofa
Made by Paola Lenti
Designed by Francesco Rota
Francesco Rota's Frame sofa distills years of Paola Lenti's material research into a single, composed silhouette. The aluminum structure is detailed with AISI 316 marine-grade stainless steel at every visible joint, a specification oriented toward coastal and demanding outdoor environments.
Upholstery is offered in fixed rope braid, Aquatech braid, or Twiggy braid, each available across solid, two-tone, and mélange colorways. The depth of the palette reflects Paola Lenti's enduring sensibility: color as atmosphere, considered from the ground up rather than applied as an afterthought.
Removable seat and back cushions combine polyester fiber with stress-resistant polyurethane inserts, wrapped in a selection of waterproof fabrics including Luz, Rope T, Brio, Thea, and Wara. The modular coupling system, also executed in AISI 316 stainless steel, allows configurations to grow or contract with the demands of a space over time.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Paola Lenti's outdoor upholstery suitable for coastal use?
Paola Lenti develops proprietary braided textiles such as Aquatech specifically to resist salt air, UV exposure, and moisture. Combined with AISI 316 marine-grade stainless steel hardware, the Frame collection is engineered for environments where corrosion and weathering are primary concerns.
Can the Frame sofa be configured in different arrangements?
Yes. The Frame collection uses a modular coupling system fabricated in AISI 316 stainless steel, allowing individual pieces to be joined and reconfigured. This makes it adaptable to terraces, pool decks, and covered outdoor living spaces of varying scale.
Who is Francesco Rota?
