The USM Haller system began as architecture. When Fritz Haller designed the USM factory in Münsingen, Switzerland, he recognized that the building demanded a furniture infrastructure of equal precision. Working alongside USM owner Paul Schärer, Haller translated that discipline into a modular language of chrome-plated steel tubes and spherical connectors, a system that has remained in uninterrupted production since 1969.
The Credenza C2A is among its most considered configurations. Open upper compartments offer immediate access to books, objects, and working materials, while two lockable drop-down doors below conceal storage without disrupting the composition's horizontal calm. The proportions hold the eye without demanding it.
