Alchemie Table Lamp by Catellani & Smith is a sculptural table lamp designed by Giulia Archimede in collaboration with the Catellani & Smith Product Development Team. Inspired by the eternal contrast between light and dark, Sun and Moon, the lamp is composed of two opposing discs: one fixed alabaster diffuser illuminated by LEDs, and one brass disc that slides by hand along a Medea limestone base.

As the brass disc moves across the illuminated alabaster form, light and shadow shift in a quiet, theatrical gesture, reaching their most evocative moment when the two discs overlap like an eclipse. Crafted with brass structure and details, Medea limestone, and alabaster, Alchemie T features a 12W LED strip with 1300 lumens, 3000K light, and CRI >95, with a plug driver and dimmer. Measuring approximately 54 cm long with 26 cm discs, it brings refined materiality and poetic illumination to consoles, desks, bedside settings, and sophisticated interiors.
