Alchemie Floor Lamp by Catellani & Smith is a sculptural floor lamp designed by Giulia Archimede for Catellani & Smith, exploring the eternal contrast between light and dark, Sun and Moon. The piece is composed of two opposing discs: one fixed alabaster disc illuminated by LEDs, and a second disc that slides along a Medea limestone track base, creating a refined dialogue between material, movement, and light.

When the two discs overlap, the composition evokes the quiet drama of an eclipse, transforming the lamp into both a luminous object and an elegant sculpture. Available on request as a standing lamp in brass and alabaster, Alchemie F brings poetic illumination, natural stone, and sophisticated Italian craftsmanship to living rooms, reading areas, bedrooms, and refined interiors.
