PostKrisi 61 Table Lamp
Made by Catellani & Smith
Designed by Enzo Catellani
Enzo Catellani built his practice around light as a physical material, something to be shaped, interrupted, and given texture. The PostKrisi collection is among his most enduring expressions of that sensibility, and the PostKrisi 61 brings it squarely to the scale of the table.
Three fiberglass shades, finished in natural or white varnish, radiate outward from a central metal rod. Their edges are deliberately jagged and fringed, so that light does not simply pass through them but is caught, scattered, and thrown into shadow. The effect is atmospheric rather than purely functional: warm 2700K illumination rendered soft and directional at once.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the PostKrisi collection distinctive?
The PostKrisi series is defined by its use of fringed, jagged-edge fiberglass shades that interrupt and diffuse light rather than simply transmitting it. This creates layered shadow effects that shift with viewing angle and ambient conditions, giving each piece a sculptural presence beyond its function.
What finish options are available for the PostKrisi 61?
The PostKrisi 61 is offered with either an untreated brass rod and black varnished base or a nickel-plated rod and base. In both configurations, the fiberglass shades are available in a natural or white varnished finish.
Is the PostKrisi 61 dimmable?
Yes. The 230V version includes a built-in dimmer with a memory last-step function, so the lamp returns to your preferred brightness level each time it is switched on.
Who is Enzo Catellani and where are his lamps made?
Enzo Catellani is an Italian designer and the founder of Catellani & Smith, established in Grassobbio, near Bergamo, in 1989. The studio is known for its artisanal production methods, with each lamp assembled and finished by hand in Italy.
What type of bulbs does the PostKrisi 61 use?
The lamp uses three E27 LED bulbs rated at 2700K color temperature, delivering 2700 lumens in total with a CRI of 80 or above, producing warm, high-quality light suited to residential and hospitality environments.
