Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have long explored the boundary between object and image, and the Vases Découpage series is among their most direct expressions of that dialogue. The Disque variant pairs a hand-glazed ceramic vessel with abstract, disc-shaped cut-out elements - flat forms that lean, overlap, and recompose around the vase to create something closer to a still life than a conventional decorative object.

The glazed surface carries a quiet depth, shifting between matte and reflective depending on the light and angle of view.
