Chambre Close by Roberto Lazzeroni is a refined chair that reimagines the traditional valet stand as a lightweight, highly functional piece for the bedroom or wardrobe. Designed in 1996, it is crafted in solid American walnut and distinguished by an essential structure inspired by Japanese ideograms, where slim interlocking sections form a backrest that also functions as a jacket hanger, trouser bar, and side hooks for belts or ties. Weighing less than 3 kilos, it combines visual lightness with practical versatility, while an optional padded seat upholstered in fabric, leather, or natural leather adds further comfort and customization. Available in a range of walnut finishes, including shellac options that enhance the depth and grain of the wood, Chambre Close is a made-to-order design that brings craftsmanship, character, and understated originality to private interiors.
