Ceccotti Collezioni traces its origins to 1956, when Aviero Ceccotti founded Ceccotti Aviero in the Tuscan town of Cascina, a historic center of artisan woodworking that supplied furniture to prestigious hotel groups such as Trusthouse Forte, Sheraton and Ciga. Emerging from this rich craft heritage, the company evolved through collaborations with designers shaped by Cascina’s renowned School of Art, and in 1986 architect Paolo Portoghesi introduced postmodern influences that paved the way for a more expressive design language. It was only with Franco Ceccotti’s vision and his partnership with Pisa‑born architect Roberto Lazzeroni that Ceccotti Collezioni fully embraced contemporary design, debuting the acclaimed “Dedos Tenidos” collection, a milestone that defined the brand’s identity of organic sinuosity, anthropomorphic curves and meticulous handmade complexity. Today, Ceccotti Collezioni remains celebrated worldwide for its poetic, author‑driven furniture, crafted to honor tradition while continuously evolving through collaborations and an unwavering devotion to luxury craftsmanship.
