Description

Volare is a sculptural bed by Roberto Lazzeroni that redefines bedroom design through refined materiality and architectural precision. The four-poster frame in solid ash with triangular cross-section tapers gracefully toward the top, creating an impression of weightlessness. The name Volare - meaning "to fly" in Italian - captures this sense of movement and elevation. The headboard, crafted from solid beech with birch plywood crossbars, is fully upholstered in Pelle Frau leather or refined fabric with leather piping. Two sumptuous pillows padded with polyester wadding attach via saddle-leather belts secured with gunmetal grey metal eyelets and buttons bearing the Poltrona Frau logo. The footboard and bed frame boards in tulipwood are entirely upholstered to match.

Available in Pelle Frau leather or premium fabric, Volare accommodates standard mattress sizes with fixed, manual, or electric bases. Customizable feet in varying heights and finishes ensure seamless integration into any interior. This bed combines sculptural beauty with functional comfort, embodying Poltrona Frau's heritage of Italian craftsmanship and design excellence.
