The 16g is a single glass leaf, set into the earth. Three layers of glass in varying opacities overlap and compress light from within, producing a glow that is simultaneously diffuse and directional. Where most outdoor fixtures treat illumination as a utility, the 16g treats it as material presence.
Bocci, founded in Vancouver by Omer Arbel, builds each piece around a process of controlled accident. Glass is not simply shaped here - it is coaxed, layered, and allowed to express its own internal logic. The 16g carries that sensibility into the landscape, where its organic form and bead-blasted stainless steel base read as something grown rather than installed.
- Three-layer fused glass construction in Grey 1 or White 1 finishes
- Internal 1W LED at 2700K, driven by 12V low voltage
- ELV dimmable, IP56-rated for full wet and outdoor exposure
- Bead-blasted stainless steel finish
- Certified UL, cUL, CE, UKCA, CB, RCM, and NOM
Its compact form - ranging from 160 to 210mm across its widest dimension - gives it a quiet authority at grade. It does not compete with the landscape. It inhabits it.
