Progettata da Franco Albini e Franca Helg nel 1952, la Tre Pezzi, è una reinterpretazione storica della classica poltrona bergère. La sua architettura è risolta in tre forme distinte, scultoreamente leggibili: una seduta curva di generose proporzioni, uno schienale ad anello e un poggiatesta a mezzaluna che si libra con sobria autorevolezza.
Il telaio tubolare in acciaio crea un dialogo formale diretto con l'infrastruttura civica della Milano del dopoguerra, un vocabolario che Albini intendeva sia strutturale che poetico. Il rivestimento avvolge ogni elemento con precisione, ammorbidendo la geometria senza oscurarla.
