Piero Lissoni was born on July 23, 1956 in Seregno, Italy. He studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and quickly became recognized for a design language defined by clarity, balance, and understated elegance. In 1986 he founded the multidisciplinary studio Lissoni & Partners with Nicoletta Canesi in Milan, establishing a practice that combines architecture, interior design, product design, and visual communication.
Over the past four decades, Lissoni has collaborated with many of the most important international design brands including Boffi, Living Divani, Cassina, Kartell, Flos, Knoll, and Alessi. He has also served as art director for several major companies such as B&B Italia, Porro, Lualdi, and Sanlorenzo. His work spans residential architecture, hospitality projects, yachts, showrooms, and furniture collections, all characterized by a calm, sophisticated aesthetic that reflects the essence of modern Italian design.
