Antonio Citterio (born 1950 in Meda, Italy) is one of the most influential figures in contemporary Italian design. A graduate of the Politecnico di Milano, he established his studio in 1972 and quickly distinguished himself through a design language defined by clarity, proportion, and enduring elegance. His work reflects a deep understanding of industrial processes and craftsmanship, resulting in pieces that balance innovation with timeless sophistication.

Over the decades, Citterio has collaborated with leading international brands including B&B Italia, Flexform, Vitra, Flos, Kartell, and Hermès. In 2000, he co-founded the architectural practice now known as ACPV Architects, expanding his vision into global architectural and interior projects. A multiple Compasso d’Oro award recipient and Royal Designer for Industry, his work is included in major museum collections worldwide and continues to shape the dialogue of modern design.
