Il tavolino SR è uno studio sull'equilibrio. Massimo Castagna l'ha concepito come un gesto architettonico discreto, che mantiene la sua presenza senza richiedere attenzione. Un piano circolare in pietra o legno poggia su una sottile struttura metallica con una precisione che lo fa sembrare quasi sospeso.
Le proporzioni sono intenzionali. La base si ritira visivamente mentre la superficie domina la composizione, creando una forma che si legge in modo diverso a seconda del materiale e della finitura. Dalla pietra calda e organica al metallo freddo e strutturale, ogni configurazione porta con sé una propria atmosfera.
