Spyder X

Massimo Castagna is a Milan-based architect and designer whose work spans furniture, lighting, and interiors. He is the creative director of Henge, a brand he founded around the idea that materials should be experienced for their physical and sensory presence, not merely their visual appearance.

Henge approaches design through the lens of materiality and architectural precision. Each piece is conceived to have physical weight and presence in a room, with finishes and forms chosen to age with character and to hold a dialogue with the spaces around them.

The Spyder X is made to order and is available in multiple finishes and configurations, making it suitable for both residential interiors and larger-scale contract or hospitality installations. Specification for custom projects is handled through an authorized dealer or design consultant.

Its radiating armature and suspended glass composition are particularly well-suited to double-height or voluminous spaces where the piece can be read in full. The scale and configuration can be discussed during the made-to-order process to suit the specific proportions of a project.
