A single sheet of metal, laser-cut and folded, becomes a continuous ribbon of structure and silhouette. Oki Sato and his studio Nendo conceived the Ribbon stool for Cappellini as an exercise in reduction: no joints, no assembly of separate parts, only the inherent logic of the material finding its own equilibrium.
The form twists and returns to itself, arriving at a seat height calibrated for stability without visual weight. Both a high and a low version are offered, each finished in a matte lacquer available in white, red, black, and mud. The restrained palette keeps attention on the geometry.
