Pinch
Made by Cappellini
Designed by Nendo
Pinch is a collection of service tables conceived by Nendo, the Tokyo-based studio led by architect Oki Sato. Known for reducing objects to their quietest, most essential gesture, Nendo brings to Pinch a vocabulary that is minimal without being cold, and precise without being rigid.
The structure is formed from metal tubes, matt painted in black. The trays are solid cedar wood, offered in raw natural or black-stained finish. The pairing is deliberate: the coolness of painted metal against the warmth and grain of cedar sets up a material conversation that gives each table its particular identity.
- Metal tube frame in matt black
- Solid cedar wood tray in natural or black-stained finish
- Designer signature and Cappellini logo engraved beneath the tray
Small, light, and conceived for movement, Pinch captures something central to Nendo's sensibility: the idea that great control and great sophistication need not announce themselves. Each piece carries the designer's signature and the Cappellini logo, engraved quietly beneath the tray top.
