Il pouf Dew di Nendo per Moroso nasce da una singola osservazione: le linee di tensione che si formano sulla superficie di una goccia d'acqua. Da quel momento di attenta osservazione, Oki Sato e il suo studio hanno sviluppato una geometria di strisce di pelle intrecciate che cambia carattere a seconda della posizione da cui la si osserva.
Il linguaggio visivo si ispira all'optical art degli anni '50, un movimento affascinato dall'instabilità della percezione. I rigidi rapporti tonali in bianco e nero creano una superficie che si legge contemporaneamente come un motivo piatto e un rilievo tridimensionale. Struttura e ornamento diventano lo stesso gesto.
