Enzo Catellani ha fondato la sua pratica su un’unica convinzione: la luce non è un’utilità ma un gesto. La sospensione Gold Moon è un’espressione diretta di questa convinzione. Ogni disco irregolare è modellato e rifinito a mano, con l’esterno rifinito in nero opaco mentre l’interno presenta una superficie a foglia color oro che cattura e restituisce la luce con discreta generosità.
Al centro della composizione, un ricciolo di rame accoglie una sorgente LED intercambiabile. Il ricciolo è sia strutturale che espressivo, dirigendo un’emissione di 2700K, CRI 90 verso l’interno dorato in modo che il disco stesso diventi l'emettitore, non solo il suo alloggiamento. L’effetto è atmosferico piuttosto che direttivo, più simile alla luce delle candele che all’illuminazione convenzionale a sospensione.
Progettata specificamente per soffitti in cartongesso, la Gold Moon è disponibile in due modelli di installazione e può essere disposta in costellazioni di densità e scala variabili. Un sottile filo nero mantiene la sospensione visivamente senza peso. Sia che venga utilizzata come singolo accento o raggruppata su una superficie del soffitto, ogni pezzo si presenta come un oggetto artigianale prima ancora che come un apparecchio.
