Enzo Catellani ha fondato Catellani & Smith a Bergamo nel 1989, spinto dalla convinzione che la luce debba essere modellata a mano e plasmata dall'istinto materico. La collezione PostKrisi, una delle opere più riconosciute dello studio, è nata da questa sensibilità: ogni paralume è formato da fibra di vetro naturale, il cui bordo frastagliato e irregolare è un gesto deliberato piuttosto che un difetto.
Nella sua forma a lampadario, PostKrisi diventa una composizione sospesa. Paralumi multipli, disponibili con diametri di 14 cm o 20 cm, pendono da una base in acciaio satinato configurata a quadrato, rettangolo o cerchio. Fili blu tracciano la struttura con tranquilla precisione, mentre i dettagli in rame e ottone riscaldano la palette metallica. La sorgente luminosa opera a 2700K con un CRI di 90, rendendo fedelmente i colori e proiettando sulle pareti ombre stratificate e organiche.
