In 1927, Charlotte Perriand designed the LC7 for her own Paris apartment, near Place Saint-Sulpice. It was a swivel armchair built on a conviction: furniture should serve the body as precisely as architecture serves space. The chair's logic has never required revision.
The outdoor edition translates that logic without compromise. The four-leg tubular steel frame, the upholstered backrest, the rotating seat that opens a room to conversation and movement - each gesture of the original is preserved. Only the cushion fabric changes, finished in weather-resistant material suited to exterior conditions.
