Vetro ovale Treflo
Made by Cassina
Designed by Erwan & Ronan Bouroullec

Domande Frequenti
What is the base of the Treflo made from?
The Treflo's base is molded in rigid polyurethane partially derived from biological-source polyols, giving it a fluid, sculptural appearance. An internal metal structure is embedded within, providing the structural stability the form requires.
What top options are available for the Treflo table?
The Treflo is offered with two distinct top options: a thermoformed extra-clear tempered glass top that is back-lacquered for exceptional color depth, and a lacquered MDF top available in matte or gloss finishes, with an HPL matte black under-top. Each resolves the relationship between base and surface differently.
What finish colors does the Treflo come in?
The Treflo is available in five finishes: Comfort, Midnight Blue, Pinot Noir, Brick, and Dark Green. Each colorway meaningfully changes the table's presence and atmosphere within a room.
Why choose a back-lacquered glass top over MDF?
Back-lacquering applies color to the underside of the glass, so light passes through the surface and reflects off the pigment layer beneath, producing a luminosity and perceived depth that a directly painted or laminated surface cannot achieve. The MDF top, by contrast, offers a more matte, restrained finish that suits interiors where the base is meant to carry the visual weight.
What other dining tables does Cassina produce?
Cassina has a long history of producing dining tables that bridge architectural precision and material invention, with pieces by designers including Mario Bellini, Patricia Urquiola, and others across its collection. The Treflo sits within that lineage as one of its more sculpturally expressive recent additions.
