Disegnato da Le Corbusier nel 1957 e reintrodotto da Cassina, l'appendiabiti LC17 è tra i rari oggetti domestici a portare l'impronta del Modulor, la sua scala armonica di proporzioni derivata dal corpo umano e dalla sezione aurea. Ogni posizionamento del pomello non è una questione di intuizione ma di intervallo matematico, governato dallo stesso sistema che Le Corbusier applicò all'architettura su scala di interi edifici.
La struttura è realizzata in rovere massello, caldo e considerato in contrasto con la precisione geometrica della forma. I caratteristici pomelli a forma di fungo variano in altezza secondo la sequenza Modulor, conferendo al pezzo un ritmo che si presenta sia funzionale che compositivo. Occupa un ingombro ridotto senza diminuirne la presenza.
