Thoughts IV - Love

The Thoughts series is a collection of limited-edition bronze figurative sculptures by Raffaella Benetti, each dedicated to a specific human emotion or state. The series uses a consistent formal language of stylised figures to explore feeling through sculptural gesture.

Raffaella Benetti is an Italian sculptor whose work sits within the expressive figurative tradition. She is known for pieces that distill emotional states into simplified, powerful forms, often executed in bronze with carefully developed patinas.

Bronze patinas are typically achieved through the controlled application of chemical solutions and heat, building colour and surface depth in multiple layers. The result is not uniform, giving each piece a distinct surface character that develops further with age.

Yes, Thoughts IV, Love is produced as a limited edition. Limited-edition bronzes are cast in a defined number of works, each individually finished, which contributes to their collectible standing.

Figurative bronze sculptures of this nature work well on a plinth, console, or substantial surface where they can be viewed from multiple angles. Their scale and material weight make them effective as standalone focal points rather than as part of a grouped arrangement.
