Belgian artist Guido Deleu conceived The Visitor as a meditation on presence and simplicity. Each figurine is shaped by hand from clay and finished exclusively with natural color pigments, giving the surface a quiet, earthy character that resists the decorative excess of conventional ceramics.

The pieces are produced at Cores da Terra, the studio founded by Selma Calheira in one of Brazil's most economically vulnerable regions. Calheira's workshop has earned international recognition not only for the quality of its craft, but for its sustained commitment to training local artisans and contributing to the cultural and economic life of its community. Works from the studio are held in museum and gallery collections worldwide.
