The Insula collection is Patricia Urquiola's meditation on adaptability. Conceived for Kettal, it approaches modular outdoor seating not as a category of furniture but as a system of spatial relationships, each module a considered unit within a larger whole.
The One Seat Corner Module anchors compositions, turning linear arrangements into enclosed, room-like environments. Its geometry is deliberate: the corner form creates a shift in direction that draws people inward, fostering a sense of enclosure without imposing walls.
