Sebastian Wrong conceived the Heidi Stool in 2008, drawing on two vernacular references: the tractor seat and the three-legged milking stool. The result is a piece that reads as both immediate and considered, grounded in rural memory but resolved through industrial process.
The seat is heat-formed acrylic, a technique that allows the material to assume an ergonomic curve without seams or joins. Beneath it, a solid European oak base provides structural honesty, its grain and weight balancing the translucent quality of the seat above.
Available in three heights and finished in black or white, the Heidi adapts naturally across kitchen, counter, and bar settings. The graphic silhouette holds its presence in both intimate residential spaces and larger hospitality environments.
