Bocca, the iconic red sofa shaped like giant lips, was born from a single private customer's request and has since graced the covers of dedicated magazines and found a home in the most unconventional houses worldwide, as well as renowned museums. Inspired by Dalì's 1935 Portrait of Mae West and the luscious lips of Hollywood stars, Studio 65 architects created a masterpiece with a pop DNA, sensual allure, and a touch of provocation. Bocca is a sought-after and imitated gem of home furniture, with the 1970 original exclusively by Gufram, its natural beauty reflected in the subtle asymmetry of its corners, mirroring the uniqueness of human lips.
Since 2008, Bocca has expanded into two captivating versions: the rebellious Dark Lady, adorned with black and an oversize piercing, exuding a transgressive and gothic spirit; and the Pink Lady, with glamorous fuchsia lipstick, epitomizing modernity and sparking conversations. In 2016, Gufram celebrated 50 years of excellence by introducing a limited GOLD edition of only fifty Bocca sofas. This edition, inspired by Hollywood divas' red lips, commemorates the brand's significant milestone, adding further allure to a piece cherished in the world's most beautiful homes and prestigious museums.
