QLOCKTWO was founded in 2009 by German artists Marco Biegert and Andreas Funk, who sought to redefine our relationship with time by expressing it in words rather than numbers. Developed in their Schwäbisch Gmünd studio, the first QLOCKTWO used a grid of 110 illuminated letters to spell out each moment, turning the passing of time into something calm, intuitive and quietly artistic. As their handcrafted objects gained international acclaim, the brand evolved into a design studio that blends Swabian craftsmanship with conceptual clarity, producing wall pieces, table clocks and Creator’s Editions made using materials like gold leaf, steel and slate. Today, QLOCKTWO continues to expand its universe with works such as EARTH and MOON, exploring the cultural, celestial and emotional dimensions of time while honoring its mission to make every moment feel more meaningful and beautifully perceived.
