Patricia Urquiola non considera la poltrona club come un dato di fatto, ma come un interrogativo. Roll ne analizza la logica della tappezzeria convenzionale e la ricostruisce: lo schienale si divide in due imbottiture indipendenti, legate insieme da cinghie tessili colorate che fungono sia da struttura che da ornamento.
Il gesto è deliberato, persino giocoso, ma la maestria che lo sottende è esatta. Un telaio grafico in alluminio tiene insieme la composizione senza competere con essa. I cuscini sono i protagonisti, e Urquiola gli dà spazio per esprimersi.
