Seasons Serving Trays - Set of 4
Made by COVO
Designed by Nao Tamura
Nao Tamura conceived the Seasons Serving Trays from a close observation of Japanese food culture, where the leaf has long served as both vessel and ceremony. Each tray is formed in flexible silicone, shaped to echo the organic geometry of a real leaf, with a natural variation that makes no two pieces identical in character.
The silicone material is central to the design's logic. It allows each tray to be rolled, folded, or stacked without losing its form, moving between kitchen and table with ease. The manufacturing process is low in energy consumption, a consideration Tamura treats as part of the design rather than an afterthought.
