Nao Tamura is a New York-based Japanese designer whose work spans product design, brand identity, and spatial concepts. She is known for objects that carry cultural memory without nostalgia, often drawing on Japanese material traditions while working within a global contemporary context.

On its lowest brightness setting, the Turn Craft runs for up to 500 hours on a single charge. Runtime decreases at higher brightness levels, though all three settings are designed to produce a warm, considered quality of light.

The lamp's cordless design makes it well suited for covered outdoor environments such as terraces or garden settings. As with any natural wood object, prolonged exposure to moisture or direct weather should be avoided.

The Turn Craft body is carved from natural wood with a handcrafted finish. The specific species may vary by edition, but each piece reflects the grain and character inherent to the material, making no two lamps identical.
