Egeo Table
Made by Edra
Designed by Jacopo Foggini
Jacopo Foggini conceived the Egeo as an object suspended between nature and artifice. The tabletop is hand-finished glass, its edges thick and deliberately uneven, referencing the fractured geometry of coastal rock formations along the Aegean. No two surfaces are identical. The irregularity is the point.
Available in elliptical, round, and rectangular silhouettes, the Egeo pairs its organic glass top with a precision-engineered metal base, offered in either a central cone or a four-leg configuration. The contrast between the raw, almost geological quality of the glass and the disciplined restraint of the base is where the design finds its tension.
- Hand-finished glass tabletop with intentionally irregular thick edge
- Available in elliptical, round, or rectangular form
- Metal base in central cone or four-leg configuration
- Each piece unique due to the hand-finishing process

Frequently Asked Questions
What material is the Egeo tabletop made from?
The Egeo tabletop is crafted from hand-finished glass with a thick, deliberately irregular edge. Each piece is unique due to the nature of the hand-finishing process, which draws from the fractured, faceted quality of natural rock formations.
Who is Jacopo Foggini?
Jacopo Foggini is a Milan-based designer and sculptor best known for his work with polycarbonate filaments, which he hand-forms into luminous, organic structures. His practice spans sculpture, lighting, and furniture, and his work is held in museum collections internationally.
What base options are available for the Egeo Table?
The Egeo is offered with a geometric metal base in two configurations: a central cone or a four-leg design. Both are engineered to contrast intentionally with the organic character of the glass top.
Is the Egeo Table made to order?
Yes, the Egeo Table is produced by Edra as a made-to-order piece in Italy. Lead times and configuration options are best confirmed through a design consultant familiar with the Edra catalog.
What shapes does the Egeo Table come in?
The Egeo is available in three silhouettes: elliptical, round, and rectangular. Each shape retains the characteristic hand-finished glass edge and can be paired with either base option.
