Egeo Table
Made by Edra
Designed by Jacopo Foggini
Jacopo Foggini conceived the Egeo as an object suspended between nature and artifice. The tabletop is hand-finished glass, its edges thick and deliberately uneven, referencing the fractured geometry of coastal rock formations along the Aegean. No two surfaces are identical. The irregularity is the point.
Available in elliptical, round, and rectangular silhouettes, the Egeo pairs its organic glass top with a precision-engineered metal base, offered in either a central cone or a four-leg configuration. The contrast between the raw, almost geological quality of the glass and the disciplined restraint of the base is where the design finds its tension.
- Hand-finished glass tabletop with intentionally irregular thick edge
- Available in elliptical, round, or rectangular form
- Metal base in central cone or four-leg configuration
- Each piece unique due to the hand-finishing process

Frequently Asked Questions
Who designed the Edra Egeo Table?
The Egeo Table was designed by Jacopo Foggini, an Italian designer and artist known for working with light-refracting materials and organic forms. Foggini has a long creative relationship with Edra, producing pieces that sit at the boundary between functional furniture and sculptural object.
What material is the Egeo tabletop made from?
The tabletop is hand-finished glass with a deliberately thick, irregular edge that references fractured coastal rock formations. Because each top is finished by hand, no two are exactly alike.
What base configurations are available for the Egeo Table?
The Egeo is available with either a central cone base or a four-leg base, both precision-engineered in metal. The contrast between the disciplined base and the raw, organic glass top is central to the design's character.
What shapes does the Egeo Table come in?
The Egeo is offered in elliptical, round, and rectangular silhouettes, allowing it to suit a range of spatial configurations from intimate dining rooms to larger formal settings.
Is the Edra Egeo Table made to order?
Yes, the Egeo Table is produced to order. Because the glass top is hand-finished, each piece involves an inherent variation that makes it singular rather than simply customized.
