Its exterior is covered entirely in hand-applied mirror shards, each fragment overlapping the next in a dense, irregular mosaic that catches and fractures light differently depending on the hour and angle of view. No two pieces read the same way twice.
Beneath that reflective surface lies a lacquered wood carcass, precisely constructed, with doors, drawers, and shelving arranged to offer genuine storage utility. The contrast is deliberate: raw and almost geological on the outside, composed and controlled within.
Fernando and Humberto Campana, working from São Paulo, built their practice on the tension between material abandon and structural intelligence.
